Project Description : Roller Rehab Bridge Bearing Service , 17th April, 2018.
Bearing rust removal, internal cleaning, painting, greasing and oiling. Report on service and any defects identified. Mark bearings to gauge future movement.
Ballast and debris on and around bearings on both abutments.
Three bearing anchoring nuts were found to be loose. They were tightened on site.
Once cleaned and painted the bottom plate of the bearing and fixed bearing guide were marked to determine future movement between seasons.
