Rust and corrosion can cause significant damage to vehicles, trailers and air conditioning systems, often without you knowing. This can of course be costly to repair or replace once discovered.
Action Corrosion now provides coating services for these types of equipment to give you peace of mind and protect your valuable assets and their lifetime.
In this post we look at the different types of coating services available in more detail and how these are done.
Coating Service Types
Vehicle Coating Service
Vehicles can typically be exposed to all types of weather and elements. This can include, rain, road debris, sand, salt water and mud over the lifetime of the vehicle.
These elements can cause damage in the form of rust and corrosion to the metals on the vehicle, body parts and frame. Many owners will maintain their vehicles after they have been exposed to these elements but it can be difficult to access all areas of the vehicle and get into the smallest gaps without professional equipment.
Action Corrosion can apply our anti rust application to all areas of the vehicle to create a protective barrier to the elements. We can also treat vehicles that have a light rust and insulate this to protect further damage.
Trailer Coating Services
Trailers can also be susceptible to the elements mentioned above. Particularly boat trailers, caravans and off-road vans. Boat trailers are submerged in water with all parts of the trailer, frame, springs, wheel hubs, jockey wheels and couplings covered by water.
Our Rustproof Clear product is designed to repel water and create a barrier against the elements prolonging the life of your trailer or van.
Additional care may also be required with greasing bearings in the hub.
Air Conditioner Coating Services
Air conditioners can suffer from two (2) main failure issues, one is rust, the other is damage to the PC boards by pests. The good news is that this can be stopped and your unit protected for its lifetime.
Our Action HVAC-R product is designed to do just that. This product is applied to all parts of the air con unit, including the metal cabinet, coils, fins and the PC boards.
We disassemble the unit and apply the coating to the mentioned parts. This is then baked on and cured. The unit is then reassembled, all screws and fittings are also coated ready for operation.
